Posting data in Excel

So....I have come to the conclusion that I know very little about using an excel spreadsheet. I am happy for Sue S.'s help in figuring out how to get my pre and post data results for my control and experimental groups into a readable chart for last weeks assignment. I was asked to change the color of my charts...which I was a little nervous about doing but I figured it out! Yay! I am slowly learning how to use excel, but I think I have a long way to go! I decided to change my grading rubric for my pre and post assessments so this particular weeks assignment took me a really long time to do! I re-listened/re-graded using the new rubric, all 70 pre-assessment activities. Each was about a minute long, then needed to be graded with the new rubric (which is easier to use for this level) and recorded into the excel spreadsheets for the control and experimental groups. Then I had to listen to and re-grade my post-assessments for the control and experimental groups...this also took about a minute to listen to each recorded assessment, grading and recording the data into the excel spreadsheets. Over all the pre and post re-grading, scoring and recording of data took me about 6-7 hours (this time includes my fighting with excel time!). In the end, I feel that the new rubric will give me a better idea of how the pronunciation of the students began and improved over the course of the interventions or lack there of (for the control group).
